As the Head of the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) Directorate at the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), I lead a team of dedicated lawyers committed to advancing justice through strategic litigation and advocacy. Every day, we tackle significant legal challenges to promote systemic change, uphold the rule of law, and protect human rights.
At LSK, I not only head the PIL Directorate but also serve as the secretary of the Public Interest Litigation, Legal Aid, and Human Rights Committee as well as the In-HouseCounsel Committee. I hold an LLB from Moi University, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.Master of Law (LL.M.) in International Finance Law and Regulations from Strathmore Law School. I am a board member of Dada Digital, an organization dedicated to empowering women from marginalized arras . I am a member of the Rule of Law Committee of the East African Law Society (EALS), the treasurer of GEMA Watho Association of Lawyers, and a member of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ). Additionally, I co-founded the Constitutional Law Practitioners and served as the class president for the class of 2022 at Strathmore Law School. I founded Kagai Pecuniary and Public Interest Consultancy. This women-led consultancy is committed to the rule of law, access to justice, and human rights programs, providing expertise in both public finance and corporate finance. I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to drive meaningful change and justice.
