We joined Naretu Maa Community Organization in the launch of the Maasai Cultural Village at Esonurua Community in Kisamis location, Kajiado West Sub County.

The Maasai community are known for their rich cultural tradition, however they are faced with many challenges characterized by persistence of retrogressive practices.

Nancy Milanoi the Founder, Naretu Maa Community Organization felt the urge to help her community come out and of the shackles of harmful traditional practices and culture.

She is doing this by taking the positive use of traditional cultural norms to preserve their cultural practices and promote tourism for both the community and at the County level.

The Emanyattas will help the community promote tourism by preserving the cultural heritage and also be source of generating income for the community youth serving as dances.
